Join us on Saturday 22nd April for 'Together 2023', a gathering of Regions Beyond churches in the north of the UK. This will be happening at The Durham Centre.

This day is a chance to connect with those in our wider Regions Beyond family, worship and encounter God together, hear about and pray for what God is doing in our churches and receive teaching from the Bible.  

We are delighted to welcome Daniel Macleod up from Trinity Church London to speak in one of the sessions. 

The day starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided. The day will include children's activities for those aged 4-11 and a parent-supervised crèche facility will be available. There will also be a session specifically for secondary aged young people as part of the day.

Join us for a day of learning to hear from God and growing in prophetic gifting.

The ‘Growing in the Prophetic: Hearing God Together’ event is for everyone.

We believe that God is real, active and speaks to us today. When God gives us a glimpse of something that’s to come in the future, we call this prophecy.

Join us at this prophetic conference to explore more, and grow in your prophetic gift.

The title for the day is Growing in the Prophetic: Learning to listen to God.

Daily we hear from the news and friends of increasing numbers of people experiencing mental health problems both in our communities and churches. Often support is difficult to find and statutory services have lengthy waiting times. As individual Christians and churches we are challenged to respond and help all find strategies to cope and healing to enjoy the ‘life in all it’s fullness’ which Jesus came to offer to everyone. However, we often feel ill equipped to respond in positive ways of supporting those who are seeking comfort, help and love.

On Saturday 17th November, 9:00am to 4:00pm, we have an opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and confidence to reach out and support those experiencing mental health difficulties both in our churches and communities by attending the Pastoral Ministry Conference which is to be held at The Durham Centre (Emmanuel Church Durham).

Speakers include friends from the If U Care Share Foundation; Eileen Brady; Christine Knowles; Joss Bray and a member of our own church with specialist knowledge and experience in supporting those experiencing a range of mental health issues.

Topics covered include: Suicide Prevention; supporting those who Self Harm, are experiencing Bereavement or supporting those will long term care needs, Domestic Abuse and Violence, Addiction; Mental Health Awareness; Healing from debilitating illness.

Who should attend: any member or the church or friends who seek positive strategies and an increased understanding of how to support those experiencing mental health difficulties in our communities and churches.

Lunch and all refreshments during the day will be provided (a donation of £5 would be welcome). However, no charge is being made to attend the conference in order to enable all who wish to attend to do so.

Several women from our church attended the New Wine women's day Blaze in 2013 and had a really good day with great worship, teaching and prayer. 

We’re planning to go as a group again to this year’s conference to be held in Harrogate on Saturday 23rd April. For more information, click here.

We’ll probably go by car and share lifts (or maybe by coach/minibus if enough of us). We leave from Durham at 7:45am and get back approx. 6:00pm.
