This summer we’re sending a group to Bulgaria, to support local evangelism and churches.

Part of the group going will be our intern James Wakefield. To support James to be able to take part in the trip, we’re hosting a ‘pay-as-you-feel’ fundraising meal.

It will be a three-course meal of Indian food, with entertainment provided by the student barber shop choir Full Score.

On Sunday 12th February, we will be praying for Scarlett as we send her out to India for two months. Praise the Lord! She will be helping brothers and sisters in ministry in West Bengal, Punjab and Rajasthan. 

After the service, around 1pm at TDC, everyone is invited to a bring and share meal to celebrate God's work in India and Scarlett's birthday. Hope to see you there!

On Saturday 26th November join us for a time of worship, feedback, information sharing, developing our vision for the Middle East and intercession.

'Middle East Alight' will take place at TDC from 9.15am to 12.30pm. Coffee and snacks will be provided. If you need transport, please contact Helen.

Join us for a special prayer and fasting gathering, at The Durham Centre on Tuesday 4th October from 7.45pm.

We are seeking God for His vision and direction in our overseas work during this current season.

We'd love to encourage corporate fasting (of one meal, 2, 3 or more?) to accompany this prayer (Acts 13:1-3) and also suggest you watch Rodney Haggar, a Regions Beyond teaching prophet from Redeemer Church, Worthing, speaking at the Gather '22 conference: "Shaped by the Prophetic".

This short course aims to help us develop a greater understanding of God's heart for the world and what he's doing all around us, how each local church in any nation can become a "Great Commission" channel for his blessing with every member playing a vital part.

As part of our Emmanuel Global Reach initiative, we're holding a 'Good Morning India' get-together at TDC on Saturday 11th September, from 10am to 1pm.

The aims of the event are to:
- Share information about the situation in India
- Pray for Kingdom advance in India and seek God on Emmanuel's way forward there
- Explore exciting new ways to be involved

All are warmly invited. Pre-registration is not required.
There will be a samosa snack break in the middle of the session.
