On the first Saturday of each month we gather together to pray into a range of issues, which may include local, global, pastoral or other matters.
We meet for breakfast at 9am, and beginning praying together at 9.30am.
We meet at The Durham Centre. Breakfast is provided.
The Emmanuel Christmas programme begins with our annual free Christmas Family Fun Day. One of our most popular events of the year, this features face painting, crafts, rodeo reindeer, inflatables, Switch, the Christmas story, refreshments, Santa’s Grotto and much more.

We’re delighted to be welcoming back Aycliffe and Brancepeth Brass Band for a Christmas themed-concert, with mulled wine, mince pies, Christmas music and plenty of chances to sing along.

Fun and laughs for the whole family at our Christmas Family Service, at The Emmanuel Centre from 10.30am.

New Years' Eve, 10pm-12.15am.
You are invited to join with your family to celebrate the arrival of the New Year together, as we cross over from 2024 to 2025, and to freshly declare the cross over our own lives as we move into the New Year.
The evening will start at 10pm with an extended time of uninterrupted worship (so bring your dancing shoes) a short message and prophetic review of the year. In the first minutes of the New Year we will Break Bread together.

It has been such a joy as a church family to stand with parents as they give thanks to God for their child, dedicate themselves to bringing up their child in the Lord and ask for his help.
To help encourage this we give you the chance to dedicate your child to the Lord.

All are invited. We are focusing particularly on reaching into God and worshipping in a new way... No regular worship band, just us and God
The Rising Generations Team are hosting a pay as you feel fundraising quiz and meal to help raise funds for Newday. If you think you're a pub quiz champion, would like to test your abilities against our young people or just like food then get yourself signed up for this fun filled evening. We would like to invite you to come and encounter Jesus afresh during our Ladies‘ Retreat Day at The Durham Centre on Saturday 8th June. To have the opportunity to set aside the busyness of life and come and be still in His Presence.
The day will start with coffee at 9.30am and finish around 4pm. It will include times of worship, prayer, Lectio Divina, and quiet reflection. In addition our lovely Laura Webb will be leading one of the sessions and there will be plenty of opportunity to pray for and encourage one another.
If you are interested in coming please could you sign up before Saturday June 1st , so we have an idea of numbers. Thank you.
Lunch will be a bring and share affair and if you feel happy to contribute to this, please could you let us know what you would like to bring.. Thank you so much.

An evening for church members to explore & wrestle with biblical teaching on gender with Andrew Bunt, speaker and author from Living Out. Come and be equipped in this important subject, through teaching, discussion & Q&A.

We will be joined for the day by the Students and Team from NPSSM. You can find out more about NPSSM by visiting www.npssm.org or speak to Sally or Keith.

5-7pm A ‘pay as you feel meal’ at TDC with profits going to NPSSM which a number in the church have been involved in.
7-9pm ‘Encounter – A night of Praise and Prophesy’. This will take place in TEC.
